CONDITIONS APPLYING TO ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTATION AND TREATMENT
- The client is invited to discuss with Peace Of mind Pest Solutions aby aspect of the treatment and this agreement.
- There will be a $50 cancellation fee applied if not cancelled within 24 hours of your treatment.
- Special/free service conditions-normal warranties here in do not apply to any service that are provided free or any part of promotion or advertised special offer by our Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions.
- Warranty Clause-due to natural breeding cycles of pests, allow 10 weeks for general pest sprays to be effective.
- General pest service does not include termites (white ants) as this is a separate service which would require a site inspection and quotation.
- All warranties here in are based on controlling insect pests from breeding in the premises interior only, it does not in any way imply that insect pests such as spiders, cockroaches, silverfish or ants will not enter your home from time to time, sealing entry points is essential. Our warranty applies during a warranty period such that if a client can show insects still breeding inside the home at levels prior to treatment, Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions will review and advise, notwithstanding that if the problem is unrelated then a service charge will apply.
- Reticulation systems-no warranty is given to reticulation system filled by the peace of mind pest solutions unless also installed by the company. Systems fitted by other companies may not be installed correctly and due to the underground installation, we have no way of knowing how well the existing system has been fitted. Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions will re-fill the system but cannot guarantee effectiveness.
- If the pest infestation being treated in accordance with this report is not controlled within the stated warranty period the affected areas will be retreated at no extra cost to the client providing the service fee has been paid in full to Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions.
- It is specifically acknowledged by the client that damage may exist in areas of the structure inaccessible to visual inspection and that under these terms and conditions of Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions shall NOT be held responsible for any replacements which may be or become necessary as a result of the activity of the pest concerned.
- The benefits of any contact resulting from acceptance of this quotation or pest service shall not be extended to the assignees of the client or new owner of the property without the prior consent of Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions.
- Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions obligations set out in this report cover only those areas, articles or part of the property stated thereon. Furniture is excluded unless specifically mentioned in this report.
- Where termite preventative works warranted in this report the disturbance of soil around the house could render such work ineffective, our warranty will be voided unless the property is retreated by us.
- The full service fee shall be due and payable and recoverable by Peace of Mind Pest Solutions on completion of the service.
- The company shall carry out pest control treatments in accordance with the company’s best practical and theoretical knowledge but it is specifically agreed that insect damage may be present or may occur in the future as a result of the activity of the indicated overleaf pests.
- The responsibility of the company resulting from acceptance of this agreement will be restricted to the execution of the pest control treatment and to the fulfillment of the service warranty obligations.
- The warranty shall be voided if all fees to Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions have not been paid by the due date.
- Peace Of Mind Pest Solutions shall not be liable for any damage to electrical, water, gas oil, other cables, pipes, fire detection equipment, burglar alarms or other installation caused directly or indirectly by Peace of Mind Pest Solutions treatments or services unless full details and plans of such services are notified to the company in writing prior to any treatment being carried out.
- The services warranty may be extended at the end of each warranty period for a further period and price both of which as subject to written agreement by both the company and the client.
SOME IMORTANT INFORMATION – SEALING ENTRY POINTS TO PREVENT INSECTS FROM ENTERING YOU HOME IS ESSENTIAL.
- COCKROACH: German cockroach infestation require a retreatment within 2 to 6 week depending on level of infestation, after the treatment you may still notice cockroaches for 4-5 weeks after treatment date. Cockroaches groom each other and are cannibals, they will spread the insecticide after traveling over the treated areas and eating baiting gels and gain complete colony control.
- ANTS: After the ant treatment, it can take up to 6 weeks to gain complete colony control. Retreatment may be needed for certain ant species. There may be numerous nests under ground and each nest can contain up to 200,000 ants.
- FLEAS: After the flea treatment do not vacuum or system clean carpets for at least 14 days, as the chemical will be removed and total control will not be obtained. Pets and their bedding should be washed and treated 2 times a week during summer months and kept outdoors.
- FLIES: Residual sprays will need retreatment every 4-8 week depending on level of activity.
- SPIDERS: After the treatment all spiders should be eradicated, however as spiders have a low skin to surface contact area and do not take in enough of the insecticide to become lethal, infestation may occur again. Do not remove spider webs for up to 14 days as passing spiders will have a lethal dose. Therefore NO WARRANTY APPLIES.
- An occasional sighting of the target pest within the warranty period can be normal. The chemical (insecticide) may take 24 hours to exterminated any new target pest arriving in and around your home.
- REMEMBER: A pest control treatment is not a physical barrier against pests, preventing insects from entering the premises is essential (flyscreens, sealing any cracks and gaps around windows internal and external/skirting areas/around pipes under sinks and behind dishwashers with products such as expandable foam, no more gap or silicone paste)
PRECAUSTIONS FOR INTERNAL FUMIGATION (FOGGING/SMOKE/FUMIGATION TREATMENT)
- All persons must leave the premises until the solution dries.
- Prior to treatment all pets including birds (must be covered or moved to one area/room),cats and dogs must be removed from the premises, fish (aquariums need to be covered with glad wrap).
- Perspex should be covered with towels.
- Close all windows, open all cupboards and draws.
- If any persons in the treatment area suffers from asthma or any severe respiratory condition, arrangements must be made for them to stay out of the premises for 24 hours. This also applies to young children whose allergies have not yet been determined and it is advisable that pregnant woman remain out of the premises for 24 hours.
- Birds should not be returned to the premises for 24 hours after treatment.
- Peace of Mind Pest Solutions Should be notified, in writing of any smoke-sensitive fire detection systems.
AFTER TREATMENT
1. Do not enter the premises until the solution dries (4 hours have elapsed)
2a. Open doors and windows and then immediately return outside for 30mins until premises have aired.
2b. Premises which are solely air conditioned should remain vacated for a 2 hour airing period whilst the air conditioning is switched on.
3. Where the interior of your kitchen cupboards are treated, please leave them empty for at least 3 hours, or until chemical is dry, place down plastic/rubber mats or newspaper before placing contents in the cupboard (this will ensure the treatment stays active for longer instead of being cleaned).
